Unity College of Professional Studies is a medium level tertiary education institution whose main campus is at Shepherds building, Buruburu phase II opposite Buruburu Police Station and Dandora Branch, Sukie Apartment Along Komarock Road

Having opened its doors to the public in May 2000, the college has continued to expand from the starting 3 pioneer students to the current population of over 1200 students. The college strives to provide high quality training at affordable cost while being responsive to the current needs and trends of dynamic working environments.

We equip our students with sufficient skills and attitudes that are sensitive to the requirements of the present job market. This plays a big role in our contribution to the country's industrialization goal.

The college also reaches a lot to the less fortunate in the society like saving a life to hunger stricken areas in Kitui.

Besides these visits to these facilities, we also make sure that our National Women Volleyball and Harambee Stars Football teams are well groomed whenever they have a national duty. We also offer free hair clinics, environmental community clean up, talent shows to residents of various areas in Nairobi such as Githurai, Kinoo, Umoja and Pumwani.

Over the past years, over 3000 graduands have graduated from our institution with majority of them getting jobs in various sectors. We also have our ex-students working in countries like South Africa, UK, Uganda, Rwanda, USA and Holland. Our students have secured jobs in major airlines in East Africa and middle East.

Some of them have won awards like Carson’s Golden Scissors 2003, 2004 and 2005 consecutively for the best Hair Designer in East and Central Africa and KISS FM, a leading FM station in Nairobi, voted one of our students as Nairobi’s Finest Hair Designer.
